The Member of Parliament for Manhyia South, Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah, has garnered widespread acclaim for his performance during the ministerial vetting of the Dr Dominic Ayine, the Attorney General and Minister for Justice-Designate.
Being his first time in parliament and in fact, on the appointment committee, Baffour Awuah’s insightful questions and measured approach showcased the depth of his knowledge but also his tactics and maturity.
Elected in July 2024 to represent the Manhyia South constituency, Baffour Awuah succeeded Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, who had previously held the position and made significant contributions during his tenure.
In the recent general elections, Awuah secured an impressive 76.23% of the votes, indicating strong support from his constituents.
He is a Barrister at law, having been called to the Bar at the honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn and now Senior Partner of Sarkodie Baffour Awuah and Partners, a law firm based in Accra.
