Vice President Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang has expressed her profound gratitude to God and the people of Ghana for their overwhelming support in the recent elections.
Prof. Opoku-Agyemang, who made history as Ghana’s first female Vice President, acknowledged the divine guidance and the unwavering trust of Ghanaians that led to her victory.
Speaking at the National Prayer and Thanksgiving Service held at UPSA in Accra on Sunday, she said, “Mine is a message of thanksgiving. When we embarked on all of this especially the three teams going on the campaign. My wish was if it is your wish God please take us there and bring us back safely.
“The Lord did just that. So after all these blessings yes he set us on our path. We do not doubt that he will pave the way for us.
“…I want to thank all of you for being here. Those who are not here, especially our grassroots people. The sacrifices they made during the campaign…Thank you all and may God bless all of us.”
