A traditional leader, and Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Council of Elders in the Savannah Region Alhaji Seidu Sampson Abudu has filed for nomination for the role of a member of the Council of State in the Savannah region.
Alhaji Seidu, who is also the Chairman of the Gonja Constitution review committee, has played the role of a leader for over 40 years in governance, education, and cultural preservation.
In the quest to push developmental projects to the region, he assured the residents of the region of his direct connection with the President of the Republic, John Dramani Mahama and that his request which will placed before him will be attended to with haste.
“What the region needs now is development, and I’m the right person. Someone who can connect directly with the President to push for the changes we desperately need in the region.”
