The government has appointed Michael Harry Yamson as the new Administrator of the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF), tasking him with improving efficiency and transparency in the fund’s management.
The appointee is a seasoned business strategist, governance expert and marketing specialist.
He brings extensive experience from both the corporate and advisory sectors.
Michael Harry Yamson currently serves as a Board Member at Unichem Ghana Group and has been Managing Partner at Ishmael Yamson & Associates since 2021.
His career includes leadership roles at Unilever, Celtel International and MTI Ghana Limited, where he specialized in brand development, investment strategy and market growth.
A graduate of the University of Leeds, Yamson is known for his expertise in innovation, team leadership, and business development.
His appointment is expected to enhance the strategic allocation of the DACF, a crucial mechanism for funding local governance and development projects across Ghana.
