A traditional leader and Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Council of Elders in the Savannah Region, Alhaji Seidu Sampson Abudu, has been elected as the region’s representative on the Council of State.
Popularly known as Tingawura, he secured 11 out of 14 total valid votes cast in the election.
Following his victory, he pledged to work diligently and offer strategic advice to the President to ensure increased development for the Savannah Region.
Expressing his gratitude, Tingawura Alhaji Seidu Sampson Abudu thanked the people of the region and the delegates for their trust and confidence in his leadership.
