The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), Simon Madjie, has emphasised the need for collective participation in driving Ghana’s development.
Speaking after a stakeholder engagement on Ghana’s state on Saturday, March 15, Madjie stressed that every Ghanaian must contribute their expertise and energy to the nation’s progress.
“We must all agree that in developing a country, we need everybody. We need everybody’s expertise and everybody’s attention on what needs to be done,” Madjie stated.
He highlighted that achieving Ghana’s development goals requires an inclusive approach where all individuals and sectors play a role.
Expressing optimism about Ghana’s path to accelerated growth, he reflected on the discussions at the engagement:
“Today has been extremely useful and helpful to us. At least we can all figure out the direction which will help us to develop our country.”
The stakeholder engagement, organised by Salzburg Global, an international organisation, and the Ghana Venture Capital & Private Equity Association brought together key stakeholders from various sectors.
Discussions covered a wide range of national issues, including politics, the economy, culture, social development, education, and infrastructure.
