Arnold Parker, former CEO of Letshego Ghana and Founder of Pesewa Rising, has praised stakeholders across various sectors for their dedication to Ghana’s development.
Speaking in an interview on Saturday, March 15, after a stakeholder dialogue on the state of affairs, Parker highlighted the strong commitment demonstrated by both public and private sector leaders in driving the nation’s progress.
The dialogue, part of a series of events in Accra and around Ghana facilitated by a group of partners including international organisation, Salzburg Global; Impact Investing Ghana; the Ghana Venture Capital & Private Equity Association; mPedigree; and Impact Hub, brought together key stakeholders, ranging from corporate CEOs and government ministers, to discuss critical national issues, including politics, the economy, culture, social development, education, and infrastructure.
Parker noted that collaboration among stakeholders is a crucial force in advancing national development.
He emphasised that this collective commitment is essential for addressing key challenges and unlocking new opportunities for economic transformation.
“I think I’m very happy that it was a cross-section of people from industry and then from the political class as well. It’s been very insightful. What I particularly like is the willingness to see change in Ghanaian society.
“I believe that for the views that were expressed, if you are gonna see that the political decision-makers will implement them or listen, begin to apply them, then we would see a lot of progress in the world,” Parker emphasised.
