The National Service Authority (NSA) has officially opened registration for defaulters and private candidates seeking to enrol in the 2025/2026 national service program.

This initiative provides an opportunity for Ghanaian graduates who, for various reasons, were unable to fulfil their national service obligations in previous years.

In a statement issued on March 14 and signed by NSA Director-General Mr Felix Gyamfi, the authority clarified that eligible applicants include private candidates with certified qualifications from accredited tertiary institutions, as well as Ghanaian nationals who studied abroad.

To ensure a smooth submission process, the NSA emphasized that applicants must submit their registration documents at any NSA Regional Office nationwide or at the NSA Headquarters in Accra during official working hours.

The registration period will be open from Monday, March 17, 2025, to Friday, July 18, 2025, excluding weekends and public holidays.

The authority further reminded the public that, under the National Service Authority Act (Act 426), all Ghanaian citizens aged 18 years or older who have completed an accredited tertiary institution are required to undertake national service.

Requirements for Registration

A letter requesting a PIN Code or reactivation of a PIN Code (addressed to the Director-General of NSA).
An attestation letter from the institution attended.
A certified true copy of the school certificate.
A copy of the Ghana Card and Student ID.
For foreign-trained applicants, an inspection of their passports.
A processing fee of GHC50.00.
Original copies of all documents for verification.
