The Minister for Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovations, Sam George, has unveiled a new vision for Ghana Post, dubbed the “360-Degree Government Post Office,” which aims to transform the national postal service into a modern, multifunctional hub offering a wide range of services to citizens.

The 360-Degree Government Post Office initiative is expected to bring about significant changes, positioning Ghana Post as a leader in public service innovation.
With a focus on technology, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, the new vision promises to redefine the role of postal services in Ghana, making them more relevant and accessible in the digital age.

Rita Sraha was named the Managing Director of Ghana Post, with Stephen Kingsley Bennieh, serving as her deputy. The duo has been tasked with spearheading the modernisation efforts, which include integrating advanced technology to streamline operations and enhance customer experience.

Sam George outlined the vision for Ghana Post as a one-stop-shop where citizens can access a variety of services, including financial transactions, bill payments, and other government-related services.

“I would like to extend a warm welcome and congratulations to the new Managing Director and Deputy. Your leadership and expertise will be invaluable in driving this transformation. I have every confidence that together, we can make Ghana Post a model for innovative and effective public service delivery,” he stated.
The Minister also charged Ghana Post to explore and develop a roadmap for a 24-hour economy, to be presented to the Ministry.
