Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the 2024 Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), alongside the party’s national leadership, is set to commence a nationwide “Thank You Tour” starting Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at the party’s Headquarters, Asylum Down.

The next tour will be on Saturday, April 26, in the Western Region.

This initiative follows the NPP’s defeat in the 2024 general elections to the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The tour, endorsed by the NPP’s National Council, aims to express gratitude to party members and the general public for their support during the electoral process.

Operating under the theme “In All Things, Give Thanks to God” (1 Thessalonians 5:18), the tour reflects the party’s commitment to acknowledging divine guidance and fostering unity within its ranks.

Spanning all sixteen regions of Ghana, the tour will feature regional and constituency gatherings, allowing party faithful to engage directly with the leadership. Notably, the Ashanti Region will host a three-day programme from April 29 to May 1, 2025, due to its political significance.

The tour is scheduled to conclude in the Central Region on June 4, 2025.

The NPP encouraged its members and supporters to participate actively in the tour events within their respective regions and constituencies.

In a statement issued on Monday, April 21, the National Organiser of the NPP, Henry Nana Boakye said, “The tour is anchored on the theme, “In All things. Give Thanks to God” (1 Thessalonians .5:18), will culminate in national interfaith thanksgiving services that include both Christian and Islamic religions, fostering a spirit of gratitude and reflection.”
