Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, Member of Parliament for Ellembele and Lands and Natural Resources Minister has expressed profound grief over the passing of Ambassador Sam Pee Yalley, former President of the NDC Professionals Forum.
The diplomat, who served Ghana with distinction as Ambassador to India, is remembered for his remarkable contributions to the success of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), the Western Region, and the nation at large.
Although the exact cause of his sudden demise is not yet known, information gathered by Citi News indicates that he died on Sunday at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
In a statement on Monday April 7, Buah extended his condolences to the immediate family, loved ones, and the broader NDC fraternity during this difficult time.
“Sam Pee Yalley was a distinguished diplomat to India and a dedicated party member who contributed immensely to the success of the NDC, the Western Region, and the nation at large. The Western Region has indeed lost a towering figure,” he said.
He described Ambassador Yalley as a monumental figure whose legacy will continue to inspire generations.
Buah also noted the personal impact of the loss, referring to the late diplomat as “uncle,” and prayed for his soul to rest in eternal peace.
