Traveling to the United States will soon be even more convenient for Ghanaians wanting to visit the U.S. Delta Air Lines is launching new seasonal daily nonstop flights from Atlanta to Accra, starting December 1, 2025. This service not only adds a new route but also underscores Delta’s growing investment in the Ghanaian market.

The new Atlanta-Accra route provides Ghanaians with a second direct flight option, enhancing flexibility, convenience, and reducing travel times. Atlanta’s strategic location offers easier connections for travelers to the southern and midwestern U.S., eliminating. Family members can now fly directly to Ghana from Atlanta, one of the most connected cities in the U.S.

Atlanta is more than just another U.S. city; it is Delta’s largest hub and the world’s busiest airport by passenger numbers. Travelers departing from Atlanta enjoy seamless connections to more than 215 destinations throughout the United States and beyond, whether your journey takes you to Washington D.C., Miami, Dallas, Los Angeles, or even to Hawaii.

This connectivity opens new possibilities for Ghanaians looking to explore the U.S., pursue business opportunities, or reunite with loved ones across the country.

Delta’s choice to fly the Atlanta-Accra route using the Airbus A330-900neo, a plane that the Ghanaian public has already welcomed, is a significant advantage. This state-of-the-art aircraft offers a premium travel experience for every budget, featuring Delta One Suites, Premium Select, Comfort+, and Main Cabin seating.

Comfort, modern amenities, and next-generation entertainment mean travelers will arrive refreshed and ready for their activities, whether visiting family, attending business meetings, or participating in “Detty December” festivities.

Delta is enhancing the in-flight experience by offering fast, complimentary Delta Sync Wi-Fi across all transatlantic routes, including the Accra–Atlanta service. SkyMiles Members can maintain continuous connectivity throughout the flight, enabling them to stream content, access real-time travel updates, shop onboard, and interact with engaging features. This advancement is part of Delta’s broader initiative to equip its entire fleet with next-gen high-speed connectivity, including the upcoming installation of dual-network systems on regional jets and newly delivered aircraft.

As travel demand between Ghana and the United States continues to expand, these developments are transforming the experience for today’s digitally connected passenger.

As Ghana’s connections with the U.S. strengthen, Delta’s investment in the market heralds a future brimming with expanded travel opportunities.

Whether planning a quick family visit, a long-awaited homecoming, or a business trip, Delta makes the journey smoother, faster, and more comfortable.
