The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has reported 14 new confirmed cases of Mpox in the country, bringing the total number of confirmed infections to 133 as of June 25, 2025.

According to the latest update released by the GHS, there have been no new deaths recorded, and the total death toll remains at zero.

Encouragingly, there are currently no individuals on admission, indicating that all active cases are being managed without hospitalisation.

The health service continues to emphasise that Mpox primarily spreads through close contact with infected individuals. Authorities are urging the public to adhere strictly to safety protocols to prevent further transmission of the virus.

GHS assured citizens that it is actively monitoring the situation and has put in place the necessary response mechanisms to manage new cases swiftly and effectively.

Ghana records two new Mpox cases, total now 119 – GHS
