The La Dade-Kotopon Municipal Assembly has affirmed its commitment to creating over 5,000 jobs as part of its Long-Term Development Plan.
The plan, launched on Tuesday, July 22, outlines a clear roadmap for inclusive development across the Municipality. It focuses on key sectors such as education, health, employment, and agriculture over the next 12 years.
In his opening remarks, the Municipal Chief Executive of the La Dade-Kotopon Municipal Assembly, Alfredos Nii Anytetei, noted that beyond job creation, the plan also aims to digitise 70% of service delivery and implement key infrastructure projects.

“This plan is backed by a robust implementation framework with clear indicators. Our targets are to create 5,000 decent jobs, deliver improved infrastructure, expand essential services, digitise 70% of our service delivery, and build a more modern, responsive, and accountable government system,” he stated.
Also speaking at the launch, Acting Head of the Local Government Service, Professor Lord Mensah, assured the Assembly of the necessary human resource support to drive the plan forward.
“I will ensure that the human resources required to execute this plan are provided,” he affirmed.
