A disturbing act of vandalism has been reported at the Second Chance Chapel in Dambai in the Oti region, an affiliate of the Believers Worship Centre (BWC), where faeces were smeared inside the church auditorium.
The incident has sparked outrage and deep concern among the congregation and the wider community.
Authorities were immediately notified, and police have since launched an investigation to track down the perpetrator and determine the motive behind the desecration.
Reacting to the incident, Prophet Stephen Adom Kyebi-Duah, Founder and General Overseer of the Believer’s Worship Centre, strongly condemned the act. He called on Ghanaians to show reverence for the House of God and urged citizens to extend respect to elders, who he said play a vital role in preserving wisdom, culture, and moral values.
The vandalism has left worshippers distressed, as they regard the chapel as a sacred place of prayer and fellowship.
Despite the shock, the community has rallied in solidarity with the church, openly condemning the act and pledging support to its leaders and members.
