Air Côte d’Ivoire to launch Accra–Paris flights in October

Starting October 15, 2025, passengers in Accra bound for Paris will have a new travel alternative, as Air Côte d’Ivoire introduces a daily service linking Ghana to France through its Abidjan hub.

The West African airline will operate nonstop flights from Abidjan to Paris-Charles de Gaulle, timed to connect with its Accra departures at 10:45 a.m. and arrival in Abidjan at 12:00 noon.

In its inaugural week, the onward Paris leg departs at 14:40 hrs, before moving to a regular 15:40 hrs schedule, arriving in Paris at 23:20 hrs — a late-evening slot designed to ensure smooth morning connections across Europe.

For the route, Air Côte d’Ivoire will deploy its newly delivered Airbus A330-900neo, fitted with a four-class cabin comprising business, premium economy, and economy seating. The aircraft offers enhanced passenger comfort while doubling as a cargo workhorse capable of facilitating same-day freight delivery between Paris and Abidjan.

The move expands travel options for Ghanaian passengers, who until now relied mainly on KLM, Brussels Airlines, British Airways, Turkish Airlines, Ethiopian Airlines, or TAP Portugal for Accra–Paris connections.

It also strengthens Abidjan’s positioning as a regional hub competing directly with established carriers operating out of Kotoka International Airport.

Beyond the Paris route, Air Côte d’Ivoire plans to resume flights to Casablanca and Johannesburg in October 2025, reinforcing its growth strategy to link West Africa more effectively to both continental and intercontinental destinations.
