The Member of Parliament (MP) for Manhyia North, Akwasi Konadu, has fulfilled a series of promises aimed at supporting education and community development within his constituency.
During a visit to the Wesley College of Education in the Krofrom West Electoral Area, the MP redeemed a pledge made during the institution’s 16th SRC Week celebration.
He donated 100 bags of cement to support the construction of an SRC hostel and presented GHS 5,000 to aid the building of academic benches for students.
Mr Konadu also visited the Buokrom Methodist Basic and Junior High School, where he donated 50 bags of cement toward the construction of a toilet facility for the school.
Continuing his efforts to promote education, the MP presented cheques from his share of the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF) to several brilliant but needy students, to help them pay their academic facility user fees.
The day’s activities ended at the Sepe Market, where the MP interacted with traders and distributed party T-shirts and aprons to market women and their customers.
The MP described the day as “a great one spent sharing the message of possibilities,” reaffirming his commitment to empowering his constituents through education, infrastructure, and grassroots engagement.
