Sales are already buzzing at the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park even before the second edition of AgriFair 2025 officially starts, as eager shoppers troop in early to grab fresh produce straight from farmers.
The three-day agricultural exhibition, organised by Channel One TV and Citi FM, runs from today, Friday 28th to 30th November, operating daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with free entry.
Yet long before the official start time, farmers were already transacting brisk business with buyers who arrived early to beat the anticipated crowds.

This year’s edition, the second since the fair debuted in June, has been billed as one of Ghana’s largest platforms for showcasing and selling farm-fresh food.
Farmers, agribusinesses, processors, input suppliers, financial institutions, and consumers are converging in a vibrant marketplace designed to promote both trade and learning.

A major attraction is the introduction of practical Agric Clinics. These hands-on sessions will train participants in snail farming, fish farming, poultry production and piggery, with workshops scheduled across the weekend.
Organisers say the clinics are open to everyone — from beginners hoping to venture into agribusiness to consumers looking to understand food production and cut household food costs.

Frema Adunyame, Head of Events and Partnerships at Channel One TV, ahead of the exhibition said the expanded training reflects lessons from the maiden edition’s overwhelming focus on produce sales. The new clinics, she explains, are aimed at strengthening the fair’s impact by promoting self-reliance and encouraging the exploration of diverse agribusiness fields beyond crop production.
The popular farm-to-basket model remains a highlight, connecting buyers directly with farmers and eliminating middlemen. Organisers emphasise that this approach increases farmers’ earnings while ensuring fresher produce for consumers at competitive prices.

Beyond the trading activity that sparked early excitement, AgriFair 2025 is shaping up to be a major networking hub. Agritech firms, processors, distributors, input suppliers, financial institutions and investors are expected to engage in partnerships, explore credit opportunities, expand markets and share knowledge on modern agricultural technologies.
The fair comes at a time when boosting food security and local production continues to be a national priority. Organisers note that the Agric Clinics will help small- and medium-scale farmers build practical skills to increase productivity, while the fair’s market structure offers producers a stronger platform to profit directly from their work.

With the event taking place ahead of the Christmas season, exhibitors are also preparing to meet rising demand and strike supply deals that could extend into early 2026.
Visitors can expect a wide selection of fresh produce, live demonstrations, agribusiness exhibitions, and access to experts across various agricultural fields. Organisers are urging individuals, families, farmers and agripreneurs to take advantage of the free entry and rich learning opportunities throughout the fair.
AgriFair 2025 is powered by Channel One TV and Citi FM, with sponsorship from the Horticulture Business Platform (HBP), Development Bank Ghana (DBG), Legacy Crop Improvement Centre (LCIC), GIRSAL, Ghana EXIM Bank and Agri-Impact, and support from Twellium Industrial Company Limited.
