School Farms had the privilege of meeting Dr. Peter Otokunor, Presidential Advisor on Agriculture and Agribusiness (PIAA) at the Office of the President in Accra, Ghana.
The meeting introduced the innovative work of School Farms and explored potential areas of collaboration with the Government of Ghana toward establishing a national School Farms Initiative across basic, senior high, and selected colleges of education.
During the engagement, School Farms team represented by the founder and Executive Director, Alfred Adjabeng presented the organisation’s 2025 Impact Report and, in turn, received the government’s technical proposal outlining the framework for the initiative.
The discussion was highly productive, and the nonprofit organisation was invited to formally express its interest in partnering with the Office of the President.
This milestone represents a major step forward in advancing School Farms mission to transform education through climate-smart agriculture, nutrition, and skills development.
A major move to continue to build partnerships that empower schools and communities across Ghana!
