The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Fifi Kwetey, has confirmed his intention to seek re-election in the party’s upcoming internal elections.

Mr. Kwetey made the disclosure in an interview with Umaru Sanda Amadu on Channel One TV’s Face to Face on Tuesday, December 16.

“Definitely, I intend to run,” he said when asked whether he would contest the position again.

He explained that his decision is motivated by the need to sustain and deepen President John Dramani Mahama’s reset agenda, which he described as critical to repositioning the country and strengthening governance.

According to Mr. Kwetey, remaining in office would enable him to help keep the party focused on doing what is right for Ghana, rather than pursuing narrow partisan interests.
