The Vice President, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, on behalf of President John Dramani Mahama, has held a farewell meeting with the outgoing Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Ghana, Abdulfatah Ahmed Khalifa Al Sattari.

The meeting, held in Accra on Tuesday, December 16, was attended by the Palestinian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Varsen Aghabekian and Ghana’s Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, James Gyakye Quayson.
Ambassador Al Sattari is concluding eleven years of diplomatic service in Ghana. The Vice President commended him for his professionalism, consistency and commitment, noting his significant contribution to strengthening Ghana–Palestine relations.

She expressed the Government’s appreciation for his role in promoting bilateral cooperation and mutual understanding between the two countries, and wished him well in his future assignments, expressing confidence that the cordial relations he helped to build would continue to endure.
