Lilian Owusu, widow of the late former Deputy Finance Minister Dr. John Ampontuah Kumah, has remarried.

Dr. Kumah, who passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at the age of 45, was widely celebrated for his commitment to public service, economic development, and his strong connection with the people of Ejisu. His death prompted tributes from political leaders, colleagues, and constituents, recognising his lasting impact on national development.

The late couple shared nearly two decades of marriage and had six biological children, in addition to fostering others.

Lilian Owusu, the Founder and Senior Pastor of Disciples of Christ Ministries Worldwide, first met Dr. Kumah in 2005, and they married a year later.
