Founder and General Overseer of Spiritlife Revival Ministries, Prophet Bernard ElBernard Nelson-Eshun, has announced that he is taking a temporary break from pulpit ministry following the New Patriotic Partyโ€™s presidential primaries.

In an accountability statement issued on January 31, Prophet ElBernard disclosed that he will step back for a season from public teaching, preaching, and pulpit ministry, explaining that the decision is intended to allow time for reflection, prayer, counsel, and strengthened accountability.

The decision follows the outcome of the NPP presidential primaries, in which former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia emerged as the leading candidate, contrary to an earlier public prophecy by the prophet that Kennedy Ohene Agyapong would win.

He emphasised that the break does not amount to abandoning his calling or ministry, stressing that he remains committed to personal prayer, study, and quiet pastoral responsibilities during the period. According to him, the season away from the pulpit is meant to facilitate realignment in growth, integrity, and spiritual discernment.

“In the same spirit of responsibility, ๐ˆ ๐ก๐š๐ฏ๐ž ๐š๐ฅ๐ฌ๐จ ๐๐ž๐œ๐ข๐๐ž๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ฉ ๐›๐š๐œ๐ค ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐š ๐ฌ๐ž๐š๐ฌ๐จ๐ง ๐Ÿ๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐›๐ฅ๐ข๐œ ๐ญ๐ž๐š๐œ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ , ๐ฉ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐œ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ , ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฉ๐ข๐ญ ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซy. This is a deliberate and voluntary step to allow for reflection, prayer, counsel, and the strengthening of accountability in how prophetic revelations are received, interpreted, and communicated.”

Prophet ElBernard also expressed gratitude to the public and members of his ministry for their prayers, patience, and understanding, as he undertakes what he described as a necessary period of spiritual recalibration.
