VIP JEOUN Transport Company Limited has commissioned 35 brand new 42-seater executive coaches into active service, marking a major boost to the company’s fleet and a significant investment in safe and comfortable road transportation in Ghana.

Adakabre Frimpong Manso, General Manager of VIP JEOUN Transport Company Limited told Citi News in an interview on Sunday, January 4 that the new buses form part of the company’s commitment to improving passenger experience while prioritising safety on Ghanaian roads.

According to him, the newly introduced Higer buses come in two main categories: 42-seater executive coaches and 61-seater standard tour coaches. Both models have been carefully tailored to suit Ghana’s terrain and long-distance travel conditions.

The 61-seater buses are designed as standard tour coaches with a 2+2 seating configuration, while the 42-seater executive coaches feature a 2+1 seating layout.

The executive buses offer wider, more comfortable reclining seats, giving passengers extra legroom and enhanced comfort for longer journeys.

Mr. Manso highlighted that the buses are equipped with world-class safety technologies for both passengers and drivers. These include three-point seat belts, advanced anti-lock braking systems, anti-collision technology, and driver monitoring systems designed to reduce fatigue-related accidents.

In addition, the buses introduce a first-of-its-kind intelligent 360-degree visibility system in the company’s fleet. This system, together with mirror-less camera technology, provides drivers with improved visibility and situational awareness, further enhancing road safety.

All the new buses are double-axle vehicles fitted with axle helpers, ensuring better stability, load distribution, and performance on long-distance routes.

The commissioning of the new fleet underscores VIP JEOUN Transport’s ongoing efforts to modernise public transport in Ghana, combining comfort, innovation, and safety to meet the growing expectations of travelers across the country.
