GOIL PLC has reaffirmed its role as a key sponsor of the 10th edition of the Heritage Caravan, organised by Channel One TV and Citi FM, underscoring its commitment to promoting Ghanaian culture and heritage.
According to Irene Mensah, Corporate Affairs Officer at GOIL PLC, the company’s six-year support for the Heritage Caravan is rooted in its identity as Ghana’s leading indigenous oil and gas company.
Speaking on Citi Breakfast on Tuesday, February 17, she described the initiative as an experiential journey that enables participants to interact with local communities, sample local cuisine, and experience Ghana’s traditions firsthand.
“Our heritage as Ghanaians, and our story as Ghana’s number one indigenous oil and gas company, give us both the privilege and the excitement to be part of the Heritage Caravan every year. For us, it’s beautiful to connect Goil’s heritage with the communities we visit,” she said.
The 10th Heritage Caravan is scheduled to begin on March 1, 2026, offering curated travel packages for adventure lovers and enthusiasts of Ghanaian heritage. This year’s edition will feature four buses transporting participants across various communities, creating a festive and immersive atmosphere.
Activities will include live performances by the Nyinkyim Band and DJ Mingle at Maaha Beach Resort, as well as culinary exhibitions showcasing flavours from different regions of Ghana.
The sponsorship portfolio has also expanded. Multi Pro Company will introduce two products — Mini Me Atsomo and Add Me Groundnut Paste — joining other supporting brands such as OmniBisc, Didi Shito, Caveman, Gino Tomato Paste, Nana Rice, Hollard Insurance and Peeva Beverages, in a collective effort to promote Ghana’s culture and tourism.
