The Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs has called on Ghanaians to focus on sanitation, environmental cleanliness, and food safety during the Easter festivities.

In an Easter message, the Minister, Ahmed Ibrahim, urged citizens to maintain clean surroundings, dispose of waste properly, and observe good hygiene practices throughout the holiday period.

“As we celebrate this season, we must also take responsibility for protecting the environment and safeguarding public health by ensuring proper food handling and preparation,” he said.

The Minister further encouraged Ghanaians to uphold the values of love, unity, and compassion that Easter represents. He noted that peaceful coexistence and mutual respect among people of different faiths are essential for national stability.

Mr. Ibrahim wished all Ghanaians a peaceful and fulfilling Easter, describing the season as a time for joy, renewal, and hope.
