On Thursday, April 25th, 2024, Road 2 Jannah Foundation (R2J) marked a significant milestone in its Ramadan Community Outreach project by donating to Rahma Orphanage Home in what it termed as Phase Two of its charitable endeavours.
The donation not only showcased the spirit of giving synonymous with the holy month of Ramadan but also shed light on the challenges faced by the orphanage.
Accompanied by Mr. Kamaru Abdulai, the Executive Director and Founder of Road 2 Jannah Foundation, Mr. Elliot Dadey, CEO of KGL Foundation, the headline sponsor, toured the facilities of Rahma Orphanage Home to gain a first-hand understanding of the structural and operational challenges faced by the institution.
During his address, Mr. Dadey reiterated KGL Foundation’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, attributing its success to the benevolence of society and the grace of Allah.
He urged the orphans to embrace knowledge and endeavour to pass it on to future generations, emphasizing the importance of education and empowerment.
Graciously receiving the donation on behalf of the orphans, Mallam Ibrahim, the assistant proprietor of Rahma Orphanage Home, expressed profound gratitude to both R2J and KGL Foundations for their unwavering support.
He appealed for continued assistance, likening their plight to that of Oliver Twist, the fictional character known for his plea for more.
The Ramadan Community Outreach project spearheaded by R2J Foundation aims not only to provide immediate relief but also to lay the groundwork for sustainable development initiatives, including skill acquisition programs for the youth.
Mr. Kamaru Abdulai reaffirmed the foundation’s commitment to seeing these projects through fruition, highlighting their dedication to national development.
