Ghanaians will soon have the opportunity to access real-time healthcare on the internet through their mobile phones.
In this case, patients only have to download a mobile application called to enable them easy access to doctors and health practitioner to help diagnose their ailments and give expert advice.
Currently, there is a free one-month medical consultation session for all who download the app, Hewale, starting July 11, 2018.
This is in line with operators of the app’s 90 days official launching recommendation plan after years of research work on the health institutions in the country and practical hands-on desk on the project.
The complete online hospital software which was developed by Orcons Systems limited will soon be officially launched.
Orcons systems is a fully own Ghanaian dynamic IT specialized organization duly registered in Ghana under the Ghana Companies Code, 1963 (Act 179).
The team has done quite a lot of underground work to ensure the software addresses the outstanding challenges in the health sector.
This mobile and web-based application is expected to solve a lot of health-related challenges in the country including, no-bed syndrome, self-medication, long queues, among others.
Hewale social health covers all the aspects of the hospital and patient management.
The mobile app version is used by a patient to seek consultation with a certified physician anywhere and at any time.
Hewale social health brings together various certified medical practitioners and institutions (Hospital, physicians, pharmacies, medical laboratories etc.) and patients on one platform for non-critical health condition. The web-based version, on the other hand, is used by Hewale registered health practitioners on Hewale to attend to the health needs of all patients on the system.
Patients are prompted immediately on their mobile app when doctors come online.
They can as well book medical appointments with any medical doctor, see available doctors online and offline, access their medical records anywhere and anytime, buy medications from pharmacies within their geo-locational areas and get the same medication delivered to them instantly by a certified courier.
Both the mobile and web-based application registration are free.
All licensed and certified health practitioners can register on www.hewale.net, while patient’s mobile app can be downloaded from AppStore and Play store.
