The Defence Minister Dominic Nitiwul is leading a delegation of opinion leaders from the two feuding factions to the troubled town of Saboba.
This is his second visit to the area, after a similar visit to Chereponi last Friday.

Other members of the delegation to Chereponi included the current Northern Regional Minister, Salifu Saeed, North East Regional Minister, Solomon Boar, past and current Members of Parliament from the area as well as a host of senior military and police officers.
Moses Magbenga said he was hopeful today’s meeting will yield positive results.
“We want to appeal to both sides to lay down their arms and give peace and chance and encouraged them to dialogue. Instead of war war, they should rather jaw jaw.”
He also urged the warring sides to air out their grievances.
“I am sure they will also table their grievances which will be taken care of, definitely, they will also accept the mediation efforts we are making.”
The former DCE for Chereponi and President of the Anufuls progressive Union, Mary Nakobu also spoke to Citi News ahead of the meeting.
“If we are not pretending, I think the Konkombas and Chokosis can make some headway,” she said.
“If they tell us the truth and we the leaders also tell them the truth and let them know that war has no winter, I think they will understand to put down their weapons.”
The Konkombas and Chokosis renewed a longstanding clash that has claimed one life.
There have also been multiple arrests over recent clashes in the area.
