Nelson Korshi Da Saglah, Chief Enabling Officer (CEO) of Korba, a leading digital payment platform in Ghana, has been awarded at the second edition of the prestigious Book of Titans (BOTS) at the World CIO 200 Summit held in the United Arab Emirates.
BOTS, a special yearbook, celebrates the success of the top 200 CIOs globally and recognizes their contribution to building a world of unlimited possibilities through the projects and initiatives they lead.
Nelson, a consummate Information Technology professional has vast industry experience spanning FMCG, Telecoms, and financial services.
He is reputed for leading transformational projects and initiatives including launching Korba, which has grown to becoming one of the leading omni-channel digital platforms in Ghana as well as the Korba Xchange – a breakthrough innovation that enables Korba to provide secure and reliable payment, collections, funds disbursement, funds transfer and international remittance services for enterprises.
His recognition at the World CIO Summit speaks to his over 20 years dedication to developing and delivering innovative technology strategies, projects and solutions driving business improvement and efficiency, reducing cost, improving customer satisfaction, and ultimately growing revenues for several businesses.

The World CIO 200 award Summit is a highly rated global CIO award ceremony held under the umbrella of the Global CIO Forum. The award celebrates the amazing lives and successful careers of Chief Information Officers (CIO) across the world allowing for the building of brands, innovative solutions, and networking with 500+ important IT decision-makers.
The Global awards was held in UAE this year, and successful CIO’s from 14 countries across six continents which included Ghana, UAE, KSA, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Kenya, Egypt, India, USA (Atlanta), Canada, Singapore and South Africa were presented with awards.
Prior to the Dubai event, a gathering of big industry players in the digital space was held at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra where eight (8) leading Technology companies were recognized along with their CEOs for their contribution to shaping the digital space in Ghana.
Korba’s CEO, Nelson Korshi Da Seglah was among the awardees.
He was celebrated for his remarkable success in the technology space and named among the top three CIO’s to represent Ghana at the World CIO Summit in Dubai.
