Isaac Newton Kumah, the man accused of killing his wife, Eunice Ameh Narh in Nungua, has been remanded into police custody for the third time by the Teshie Nungua District Court.
The suspect requested medical attention during his appearance before the court on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.
In response to the suspect’s claim, the judge, Nana Aba Quaiba Nunoo, instructed the prosecution to ensure that the suspect receives the necessary medical attention.
The case has been adjourned to July 12, 2023.
The father of the deceased, Michael Teye Narh, told Citi News in an interview that they are not concerned about the slow pace of the trial.
“So far, the case has been adjourned to July 12, 2023. He said he was sick, but they are having transportation problems, so they could not send him to the hospital. The judge has asked that they send him to the hospital and appear on July 12th.”
