Music 4 Youth Ghana launches charity projects on May 5

Music 4 Youth Ghana will launch the first of its charity projects on 5th May, 2018 to bring awareness to the needs of young mothers in Ghana alongside showcasing the effectiveness of music therapy practices.

The launch will take place at The Lab Grill & Pub in East Legon (next to East Legon Police StaBon). This event will start at 4:30pm.

Music Therapy Association of Ghana (MTAG) will play a major role in bringing awareness to the needs of young mothers in Ghana, showcasing the effectiveness of music therapy practices.

The Music Therapy Association of Ghana (MTAG) is a nonprofit organisation with a division dedicated to training of Music Therapists Improving music education in Ghana whilst providing therapy services for children, young people, adults and geriatrics who may face various psychological, emotional, physical or social challenges.

There will also be a series of musical events taking place in 2018/2019 season held at various notable venues in Accra. Some of the events include Kweku @ 40 Music 4 Youth Campaign Launch fundraising dinner and celebration, a night of music hosted by North American Women Association, Generations musical event paying tribute to legendary high life singer Ebo Taylor and Madam V’s evening of classical music entitled ‘Just a Touch of Class.’

About Music for Youth Ghana

MUSIC 4 Youth Ghana consists of a team of consultants, musicians, and producers who were touched by the works that various charities provide. This year’s charities chosen are Music Therapy Association of Ghana, and Nneka Youth Foundation.

Each team member appreciates the concept of bringing together musicians of different genres with a common purpose of giving back by using our creative minds.

The mission of Music 4 Youth Ghana is to support non-governmental organisations whose aim is to support the advancement of women and children in Ghana, West Africa through utilising the gift of music.

Music 4 Youth Ghana also aims at bringing musicians of different genres together with a common theme.
