The 2018 edition of the Greater works conference organized by the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) begun on Monday at the Black Star Square.
The five-day programme will have seasoned men of God including Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo of the Kingsway International Christian Centre(KICC), UK; Bishop Tudor Tudor Bismark of the Jabula New Life Covenant Church, Zimbabwe, and Bishop Mike Okonkwo of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM), Nigeria, minister to the thousands of participants.
The opening day saw Nigerian gospel singer Nathaniel Bassey lead the congregation through a time of worship.
Minister Joe Mettle also led the praise team to usher congregants to the start of the program.
Also ministering on the night was Lumina and the Accra Symphony orchestra.
The General Overseer of ICGC and Convenor of the conference Pastor Mensa Otabil, opened the conference with a communion service and a short exaltation to end the Church’s forty days of fasting and prayer dubbed “40 days of Power”.
The conference will end on Friday, August 3,2018
The morning sessions of the program will be held at the Head Quarters of the International Central Gospel Church at Abbossey Okai.
