The Executive Director of Under 40 CEOs Africa, Familusi Akin Babajide has charged rising entrepreneurs to pay the price in other to be successful in their enterprise.
The serial entrepreneur popularly known as Mr. FAB has recorded over 100 episodes of media content, featuring inspiring stories of young business leaders from East, West, and South Africa and organised several other curated events.
These include the Under 40 CEOs Forum, Under 40 CEOs Live, Under 40 CEOs Networking Events, and an International Women’s Day event in Nigeria, Ghana, Rwanda, and South Africa.
Among them is his book, Under 40 CEOs – How We Made It In Africa, which is a compendium featuring authentic stories of 52 of the brightest young African Business leaders from South Africa, Nigeria, and Ghana.
The 220-page book was adapted from the first season of his television series which continues to inspire and motivate hundreds of thousands of aspiring and emerging young African business leaders across the continent.
In a Citi News interview after delivering a copy of his book to General Manager of Citi FM/TV, Bernard Koku Avle, the Executive Director of Under 40 CEOs Africa, said “It is all about diligence. If one continually strives for excellence, it will soon be recognised and rewarded. Don’t condone mediocrity. Pay whatever it cost to master your enterprise. Never stop learning.”
“I would love to quote a verse in the bible that says ‘See a man diligent in his ways, he shall stand before kings and not mean men.’ This verse pretty much sums up my philosophy,” he added.
He further indicated how he ended up selecting the 52 young African business leaders captured in his Under 40 CEOs project.
“We have travelled the continent, had a sit-down with these ones and had honest conversations with them. These have also culminated in the production of Africa’s biggest youth-targeted business television series Under 40 CEOs.”
“These stories were firstly designed to inform, inspire, educate and equip the next generation of African Business Leaders and secondly to serve as a resource for anyone who desires to do business in Africa,” he added.

The Under 40 CEOs is currently broadcasted in 24 African countries including Uganda, Nigeria, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania, South Africa, Lesotho, and Rwanda.
