Christy O and Cyph evicted from BBNaija 7, Beauty Disqualified

The first two housemates to be evicted from the Big Brother Naija Season 7 were Christy O and Cyph from Level One House during the Sunday live eviction show. Their eviction came as a shock to the housemates and emotions and tensions were high as they bid their evicted colleagues goodbye. Housemate Beauty was also disqualified for getting a third strike in the house, much to the dismay of her fans. A BBN fan on #TwitterGhana reacted, “Oh God, My Cyph and Beauty.”  Meanwhile, on Monday Adekunle emerged as the Head of House, and nominated Khalid, Phyna, Groovy, Bryann and Ilebaye.

Big Ivy Releases ‘Poison Ivy’

Ivy Adjimah, known in the Showbiz Fraternity as Big Ivy, has bounced back with another banger as a reply to Nigeria’s Mama Dollarz as she titles this tune “Poison Ivy”.  The song, immediately after its release, caused a stir on social media, with scores of netizens showing it mad love and giving great reviews. “Big Ivy and Mama Dollar beef is even interested than Lyrical Joe and Amerado’s own. I’m not capping!.” The son of Big Ivy, CJ Biggerman  wrote “This is how she holds the rap forte for Ghana.” Follow #BigIvy for more reactions to this banger, including this Tweet from @TwitterGhana; “Big Ivy for Rapper of the year”.

Lyrical Joe brings the heat to Amerado with new single

 Lyrical Joe was trending after the release of his brand-new song titled #KwabenaNumbers on which he threw some shots at Amerado Burner. The talented rapper Tweeted, “#kwabenanumbers Amerado Burner Let’s continue”. The two rappers have in recent times been competing greatly against each other in increasingly heated songs.

 Black Princesses to play USA in their first U20 Women’s Worldcup match

The  Ministry of Youth and Sports shared a Tweet wishing Ghana Black Princesses the best of luck as they compete in their opening game against USA in the  FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup happening  in Costa Rica. Stonebwoy, also shared a word of inspiration to the team as seen in this Tweet.

Kofi Balmer’s signing by Crystal Palace excites Ghanaians

 Ghanaian football fans were thoroughly thrilled by the announcement of Crystal Palace Football Club’s new signing, Kofi Balmer. The Northern Irishman caught the attention of most Ghanaians on Twitter because while he is Caucasian, his first name is a typical Akan name.
