Overview of programmes:
TVET:

In Ghana, through our TVET programmes, we have helped enhance technical and vocational education training to give more young people a better opportunity of gaining meaningful employment.

In Ghana we deliver impact through our Ghana Arts Programme which has three main strands – Cultural Connections/Exchange, Creative Economy, and shared Global Challenges. Through our Art programmes, we give opportunities to hundreds of millions of people worldwide to learn about British culture and creativity.
Higher Education:
The British Council through its International Higher Education portfolio delivers the Innovation for Africa Universities (IAU) programme, promotes the GREAT Scholarships, and coordinates the Alumni UK network – a global network for people from around the world who have studied in the UK as an overseas student.
The IAU programme is our flagship learning and collaboration platform which brings together universities in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa and entrepreneurship ecosystem players to engage, interact and learn from each other with the aim of developing mutually beneficial partnerships that strengthen the capacity and capability of Higher Education systems in both locations.
