Harlequin Oil and Gas Ltd. (HOG), a leading, 100% Ghanaian owned Engineering and Fabrication Services Company took home the coveted “Indigenous Oil Company of the Year 2023” (Upstream) at the 10th edition of the distinguished Ghana Oil and Gas Award (GOGA) ceremony held at Kempinski Hotel in Accra, on Saturday 8.
By virtue of HOG’s commitment to excellence in service delivery, adherence to international QHSE standards, and the professional development of Ghanaians within and beyond their community, HOG has picked up this award to honour its accomplishments in the upstream Oil and Gas sector.
The award from GOGA is an indication that HOG continues to be the market leader in the
provision of outstanding world class Fabrication, Hydraulic and General Engineering Services to clients in the upstream oil and gas industry in Ghana and the sub region.
HOG has a proven track record providing services in Ghana and the West African sub-region, providing services such as turnkey welding and fabrication of both topside and subsea equipment including suction piles, manifolds, steel bend restrictors, holdback anchors, mud mats, jumpers etc. to the upstream oil and gas industry.
In addition to their welding and fabrication services, they provide offshore labour, hydraulic and pneumatic support services for high-pressure hydraulic/air systems, components such as cylinders, valves and pumps, heat plate exchanger and riser maintenance services amongst many others.
They have successfully completed projects for various multinational oil service companies including TechnipFMC, National Oilwell Varco (NOV), MODEC, Tullow Oil and Noble Drilling to name a few.
GOGA is organized by Xodus Communications Limited to showcase company’s activities and achievements in the past year and reward excellence in Standards and Stewardship, Health and Safety, Corporate Social Responsibility and more. A cross-section of oil and gas players and stakeholders from government, upstream, midstream, downstream, regulators, civil society, financial institutions, and insurers, among others are recognized and awarded.
The award was received by Mr. John Ansah-Yeboah, Technical Manager – Oil and Gas.
He dedicated the award to top management and his colleagues whose hard work, commitment and innovation has enabled the organization deliver professional and continuous excellence to its clients and be recognized by The Ghana Oil and Gas Award (GOGA) team.

Also present at the event was the General Manager of Harlequin, Mr. Daniel Twimasie.
