The Member of Parliament (MP) for Builsa South in the Upper East Region, Dr. Clement Apaak, has announced the loss of his father, Paul Asikisimi, who passed away on March 3, 2024, in Sandema.
In a post on X formerly Twitter on Sunday, March 3, 2024, Dr. Apaak, the family spokesperson, said that the father had a peaceful transition, surrounded by his close family members.
He added that his late father’s burial arrangements would be revealed by the family in due time.
In light of this, Dr. Apaak urged the public to respect the family’s right to privacy at this trying time.
“It is with a heavy heart that we announce the death of our father, Mr. Paul Asikisimi. Mr. Asikisimi passed on in the early hours of March 3, 2024, at his home in Sandema. He was surrounded by loved ones and immediate family when he transitioned peacefully.
“The family will announce details of his funeral at the appropriate time. We call on the general public to respect the privacy of the family at this sorrowful time. ”
