Dr. Ken Kwaku, Founder and Executive Chairman of Rebecca Agroh Memorial Foundation (RAMF), a registered NGO that supports women’s empowerment throughout the country, today presented several working tools to a group of graduates from Tamale Vocational Training Institute, all of whom were sponsored by the Foundation.
The items provided by RAMF include sewing machines, irons, hair dryers, and washing bowls, all of which are crucial for the graduates to start their own businesses and become self-reliant. By equipping these young women with the tools they need to succeed, RAMF aims to break the cycle of poverty and empower them to create better futures for themselves and their families.
The recipients of these essential tools were previously head porters, famously known in Ghanaian parlance as ‘Kayaye’, who were identified by RAMF and offered full scholarships to pursue vocational training at the Tamale Vocational Institute.
This initiative is just one example of the philanthropic activities that RAMF supports, which include providing scholarships, vocational training, menstrual health, financial empowerment of women, and other forms of assistance to individuals, orphanages and communities in need.
Through its unwavering commitment to social responsibility and community development, RAMF continues to make a positive impact in the lives of countless individuals across the country.
As we celebrate this latest milestone, RAMF reaffirms its commitment to empowering women, promoting education, and continuing our mission of making a difference in the lives of those who
need it most.
