President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has called on the Ministry of Finance, the Public Services Commission, and the Controller and Accountant General Department to ensure that all public service organisations’ staff are incorporated into the Human Resources Management Information System for effective payroll management.
At the 11th Annual Conference of Chairpersons of Governing Boards, Councils, Chief Directors, and Chief Executives of the Ghana Public Services in Kwahu Nkwatia, Eastern Region, President Akufo-Addo said “I task the Ministry of Finance, the Ghana Services Commission and the Controller and Accountant General Department to make certain the personnel of all public service organisations are rolled unto the human resource management system for the efficient management of the nation’s payroll.”
Furthermore, President Akufo-Addo urged the Governing Boards and Chief Executives of Ghana Public Services to embrace measures to incorporate digitalisation into their business processes.
“I take this opportunity to appeal to all chairpersons of governing boards and councils, Chief Directors, the Chief Executives of Ghana’s public services to welcome and initiate action to mainstream the digitalisation business processes in the public services,” he expressed.
