Vice President D Mahamudu Bawumia on Sunday attended a service at the St Jude’s Catholic Church in New Weija, Accra.
The visit was at the invitation of Rev Fr. Andrew Campbell, the Founder of the Lepers Aid Committee and the immediate past Parish Priest of the Christ the King Catholic Church.
The Vice President described the experience as both enlightening and fulfilling.
He spent time sharing ideas on our common humanity and expressed his marvel at the omnipotence of the Almighty.
“I am grateful to the members of the St Jude’s Catholic Church for the warm welcome,” said Vice President Bawumia.
The Vice President’s visit was well received by the congregation, who appreciated his presence and the opportunity to interact with him.
The visit also provided an opportunity for the Vice President to understand more about the work of the church and the Lepers Aid Committee.
