The Minister of Education, Haruna Iddrisu, and the Deputy Minister of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovation, Mohammed Adams Sukparu, are in stable condition following an accident on the Bolgatanga-Tumu road in the early hours of Thursday, February 12.
The incident occurred while the ministers and their convoys were traveling to the Upper West Region to attend the 40th anniversary celebrations of Tumu College of Education and Jahan College of Education.
All members of the convoy are receiving medical attention, and officials have confirmed that everyone is stable.
The Office of the Education Minister thanked emergency responders, health workers, and the public for their swift assistance and support. Further updates will be provided as necessary.
