The Women’s Ministry of the Pentecost International Worship Center (PIWC) West-Hills, located in the Kasoa Area, celebrated this year’s National Women’s Week with a notable act of charity.
Under the guidance of the District Women’s Ministry Leader, Deaconess Mrs. Linda Mante, they made a significant donation to the Pentecost Hospital in Accra.
The ministry demonstrated their commitment to making a real difference in the community by donating essential items worth GH¢40,000 to assist in patient care.
The donation was made possible through the steadfast support of Flokefama Company Ltd and Gilsan Company. It was motivated by a profound desire to lend a helping hand where it is most needed.
The donated items included a variety of medical and hygiene supplies such as surgical blades, free needles, spinal needle with introducer, infrared thermometers, digital thermometers, fetal dopplers, first aid bags, FFP2 nose masks, chlamydia biozeks, combo, antiseptics, liquid detergents, toilet rolls, and packs of bottled water.
In an interview with Citi News on Wednesday, May 12, Deaconess Mrs. Mante acknowledged the dedication and enthusiasm of the PIWC West Hills Women’s Ministry executives and all church members as the driving force behind the donation project.
“It is through your collective efforts and unflinching support that we continue to impact our community positively,” she added.
She emphasized that the donation was not just an act of charity but a testament to their faith and commitment to embody the love of Christ through their actions.
“We look forward to continuing our mission to serve and uplift our church, the community, and the nation in the years to come,” she added.
Deaconess Mrs. Mante expressed the Ministry’s gratitude to the Chairman of the Church of Pentecost (CoP) Apostle Eric Kwabena Nyamekye and the Executive Council, the Kasoa Area Head and his wife, Apostle James Kwabena Asare and Mrs. Irene Abena Mansa Asare, Women’s Director Mrs. Philomina Mereku and her executive team, and the PIWC West Hills resident pastor and his wife, Pastor Philip Pascal Asiedu and Mrs. Stella Asiedu.
