As part of the leading financial institution’s corporate social responsibility, ASA Savings and Loans has made a donation to the Dansoman Polyclinic to augment the work of the medical team in delivering quality healthcare.
The items donated were an oxygen cylinder, a standing blood pressure (BP) machine, two sets of glucometers, two sets of flow meters, an x-ray viewer, a ketometer, a nebulizer machine, a digital weighing scale and two sets of otoscope.
Others include a nebulizer with mask, three sets of 3-in-1 stethoscopes, two pieces of 4-foldable ward screen, a drip stand, two sets of ambu bag child, a digital slygmanotor, two pieces of large waste bins, six pieces of airway, 20pieces of dorsiflex, and 30pieces of NG Tube.
The Odorkor Area Manager of ASA, Madam Mercy M.S. Adzie disclosed that the facility was selected because it was the only public Polyclinic serving the people of Ablekuma Central Municipality and the environs of Dansoman.
“We hope these items will empower the staff and medical team of the facility towards the achievement of SDG Goal-4, Good health and well-being” she added.
The Ag. Medical Superintendent of Dansoman Polyclinic, Dr. Felicia Anderson was elated upon the receipt of the donated items. “ Today is an important day for us because lacked these items to ensure effective health delivery. This is the first time as the head of this facility witnessed a corporate body come to donate this variety of health equipment”.
Hannah Imbiw, the Principal health administrator expressed her joy, particularly with the donated glucometer, X-ray viewer, stethoscope, oxygen cylinder etc. “May the good Lord bless the management of ASA and replenish where you took this fund from and we promise to put them to good use”, she added
