Hajia Katumi Natogmah Attah, the Northern Regional Director of Education, has extended best wishes to all candidates participating in the 2024 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in the region.
The examinations are scheduled to begin on Monday, July 8, 2024, and will conclude on Monday, July 15, 2024.
A total of 30,555 candidates from 617 public schools and 3,289 candidates from 160 private schools are registered for the exams. The candidates will be distributed across 113 examination centers, supervised by 113 supervisors and 1,139 invigilators.
Hajia Attah offered valuable advice to BECE candidates, emphasising the importance of staying calm and focused, managing time wisely, following instructions, maintaining good health, and arriving early at the examination centers.
Additionally, she urged invigilators to uphold the integrity of the examination process, remain vigilant, provide clear instructions, and offer necessary support to ensure a fair and smooth examination environment.
The Regional Director also expressed gratitude to teachers, parents, and all education stakeholders for their dedication and support, which are crucial for the students’ success.
