dedamola Adelabu, the Country Delegate of CFAO Mobility Ghana, has confirmed that the company is fully compliant with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards.
Mr. Adelabu stated that CFAO Mobility Ghana is committed to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a particular focus on education, health, and the environment.
ESG compliance is a measure of a company’s adherence to environmental, social, and governance standards and best practices.
In a conversation with Bernard Avle on the Point of View, Mr. Adelabu revealed that the company has initiated projects aimed at achieving these goals.
“The company is fully compliant with ESG standards,” said Mr. Adelabu. “Our focus, our strategy are in tune with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, which revolve around education, health and wellbeing, and the environment.”
“So a few of support in that direction for Ghana. A while ago we were at the Kaneshie Cluster of Schools where we completely revamped the ICT centre, we deployed IT systems We went into their infirmary, we rebuilt completely their infirmary.”
Mr Adelabu further mentioned that the company conducted a health screening and sensitisation programme for the people at the Mallam Atta Market. Additionally, the company provided the government with vehicles during the COVID-19 pandemic.
He said the company’s headquarters in the country had been fitted with a solar device that saves carbon emissions.
