The Management of the National Service Scheme says it has begun registering Ghanaians who studied abroad and are ready to undertake their service in Ghana.
Such persons according to the NSS Secretariat have up to Monday April 30, 2018, to do the registration.
“The Management of the National Service Scheme (NSS), in collaboration with the Diaspora Affairs Office of the Office of the President, wishes to announce to all Ghanaians across the Diaspora who studied home and abroad and wish to do their national service, to register with the NSS latest by Monday, April 30, 2018.”

A statement signed by the acting NSS Director, Mustapha Ussif, urged interested Ghanaians to submit their application letters to the Diaspora Affairs office at the Presidency or the NSS Head office in Accra or log onto the scheme’s website https//portal.nss.gov.gh and provide the required information.
“All application letters must be accompanied with a certified true copy of academic certificates or attestation letter, certified true copy of academic transcripts from accredited tertiary institution(s) attended, school I.D. card, passport bio data, students’ visa and any other relevant documents to support the application,” the statement added.
NSS gives defaulters opportunity to register
The management of NSS in February 2018 announced an opportunity for all eligible Ghanaians who missed out on their national service in the previous years to enroll.
In a press release signed by the Mustapha Ussif, he advised all those interested to send their application details before March 16, 2018.
