Shatta Wale has expressed worry about trolls being hurled at his arch-rival Stonebwoy, by his fans.
The dancehall king, has in a Facebook post, asked his fans to support Stonebwoy but not to insult him over his supposed poor performance in Miami during the Best of the Best Reggae Music Festival.
After his performance at the festival on Sunday, May 27, 2018 some fans of Shatta Wale have been mocking him for his ‘inability’ to wow the audience at the programme.
Shatta Wale, after seeing the trolls has advised that his fans rallied behind Stonebwoy because he is Ghanaian and it is prudent that he is supported irrespective of the ‘abysmal’ performance and the faction he belongs to.
“Nobody should insult Stonebwoy on his recent performance. If his fans won’t support us let’s support him anyhow we can. GHANAIANS isn’t it? Let’s educate the Bhims. Shatta movement didn’t start this comparison. They started God knows. Let’s support our own!!! Whoever say shit here BIG F**CK YOU,” he wrote on Facebook.

They have been fighting for supremacy in the world of dancehall and this has translated into reactions from their fans.
However, some have interpreted Shatta Wale’s post as sarcastic – one meant to ridicule Stonebwoy’s performance and not a genuine gesture to show love to him.
Shatta Wale recently make history by shooting the most expensive music video in Ghana for his ‘Gringo.’
Stonebwoy who also won Best Dancehall Artiste of the Year at the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, is promoting his new songs including ‘Tomorrow’ which has gained massive rotation on radio and television.
