As part of activities to mark Citi FM/TV’s annual corporate social responsibility programme; Easter Orphan Project, some staff and listeners of the station on Monday took residents of the Baptist School Complex [BASCO] through a mentorship session.
Aside from the mentorship session, the children were treated to entertainment and fun.
The team also presented stationery, food items, toiletries and cash to the orphanage to help in the upkeep of the children.
The station has been embarking on this event annually for the past 13 years and its support has significantly helped to improve the lives of the children, some of whom are currently in tertiary institutions.
At BASCO, the station presented assorted items as well as GHC 30,000 cheque to the orphanage.
The station also handed Handivangelism Orphanage, a cheque for GHC 10,000. Mama Laadi Orphanage at Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region also received a sum of GHc10,000.
These donations were made possible through the generous contributions of staff and listeners of Citi FM/Citi TV.
