Auto Parts Limited (APL)-Nissan Ghana has donated a Nissan Hardbody Pick up 4×4 single cabin to the COVID-19 National Committee.
This was done at a brief ceremony at the Jubilee House as part of APL’s own contribution to efforts aimed at combating the pandemic.
Speaking during the presentation ceremony, the Managing Director of APL-Nissan Ghana, Mr Subhi Accad expressed the readiness of his organisation to respond to the President’s declaration of “A whole Ghana Approach” to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
He added that, this was also “a call to duty; a duty to ourselves, a duty to our country and a duty to humanity.”
He hoped that his organisation’s contribution would go a long way in helping win the war against the pandemic.
“This will assist the work of the COVID-19 Board of Trustees as we join efforts to fight the Corona Virus,” he said.
Also, he applauded the frontline workers, who include doctors, nurses, health administrators, cleaners and other ancillary workers for their steady efforts which are bringing good results so far.
